   That is, of course, referring to all having sin and needing a Saviour to deliver them from their sins. The false-christian cults will use those verses to try to justify the ongoing sin in their lives.
   
   1 John 3:8 He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.
   9 Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.
   
   Real Christians have sin in their past but not in their present. The false-christians have no real power over sin so they wallow in it and try to justify it.

   I was referring to the reference of the Father and the Son.
   Jesus referred to the Father frequently and made sure to point the message to the Father.
   Your dispute is not with believers but with God Himself and the Son Jesus Christ.
   you dispute the words of Jesus and what he taught.
   I pray you see this.
   
   as for sin...yes sin in the past but we also sin presently whether knowingly or unknowingly.
   The scriptures are clear...anyone who says they don't sin is a liar.
   if you don't sin then you have been perfected but Jesus has not returned yet andyou are still here dealing and living with a sin prone body mind and spirit.
   the spirit is willing but the flesh is weak.
   also saying that...the way you demean others is not of God. Jesus knew how to call our sin especially in the religious... those who knew better...and quite frankly you know better than to spew what you spew.
   I find it interesting that you focus so much on character and doctrine of others yet you don't see the beam in your own eye. your words betray you.
   If you loved God you would show love for others and gently teach, reprove and instruct as Paul instructed Timothy. And remember, those who teach are held to the highest standard over a common believer. Be certain your doctrine is approved of God..for many come and are now here who preach a distorted gospel and not the one we all first received the one faithfully written to us by His Spirit.
